The Upper Colorado Basin and the Pacific Northwest Basin both drain into the Pacific Ocean. The southwest corner of Wyoming drains into the Great Basin, which has no outlets to either ocean. The Great Divide Basin in Wyoming is also a closed basin and was formed by a division of the Continental Divide.
